Ingredients

• Rye Whiskey2 oz
• Sugar Cube1 cube
• Peychaud's Bitters4 dashes
• Absintherinse · optional
• Lemon Twist1 piece · optional

Steps

1. Rinse a chilled rocks glass with absinthe and discard the excess.
2. Muddle the sugar cube with the bitters; add rye and ice, stir until cold.
3. Strain into the prepared glass; express a lemon twist over the top and discard.
